Gorgeous Joaquin Phoenix will star in the film ‘Disappointment Boulevard’ financed and produced by A24.
Ari Aster has written and will be directing the film. A24 will finance and produce.
Phoenix (46) is a very versatile actor. He has acted as a child actor with his brother River and sister Summer (SpaceCamp 1986), comedy-drama (To Die For 1995), period film (Quills 2000), horror films (Signs 2002 and The Village 2004), historical drama (Hotel Rwanda 2004), romantic drama (Her 2013), crime satire (Inherent Vice 2014) and the psychological thriller (You were Never Really Here 2017), but his best ever performance is the Joker (2019). He has won an Oscar, two Golden Globe Awards and many other awards.
Phoenix is also a music video director and produces film and TV shows.
He has been a vegan since he was three years old and campaigns for PETA and Defense of Animals.
