Initially delayed by Covid19, the “Genious: Aretha” series is due for release in March on National Geographic TV
The series starts in 1967 at Atlantic Records where Aretha records her first album as well as braving her first solo in her father’s Church in 1953.
The series takes us through to 1998 where her appearance at the Grammies confirms her as the first lady ‘Queen’ of Soul.
