Hundred of thousands of Taylor Swift fans are furious. A joke is a joke, but they find that Netflix show Ginny and Georgia swipe at the expense of Swift is going too far. On social media, #RespectTaylor, fans campaign against the series.
Swift reacted on Twitter: “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 calls and wants his lazy and heavily sexist joke back. What if we stopped humiliating hard-working women by calling this kind of horse shit funny? “
Netflix and the creators of Ginny & Georgia have so far not apologized nor responded.
