Bunny Wailer was one of the original members of the reggae group The Wailers along with Bob Marley and Peter Tosh.

After leaving the Wailers, Wailer experimented with disco on his album Hook Line & Singer. His music had dancehall and rockers influences.

Wailer won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 1992 for the album Time Will Tell which was a tribute to his friend Bob Marley.

Wailer was also featured on the album ‘ True Love’ which won the Grammy Award in 2004 for Best Reggae Album and showcased many notable musicians including Willie Nelson, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Gwen Stefani, etc. In November 2019, Wailer received a Pinnacle Award in New York from the Coalition to Preserve Reggae.’
