Yet another movie delayed by the pandemic. Black Widow of Marvel fame starring Scarlett Johansson was postponed to May 2021 will now be released 9th July.
It is due to be released in cinemas and Disney+ simultaneously. Scarlett was the world’s highest paid actress in 2018 and 2019 with her films grossing more than $14 billion worldwide. The character she plays is Natasha Romanoff and has a history as a spy. The force trying to bring her down will stop at nothing but they are up against an Avenger.
It has taken a long time to bring the movie together. Emily Brunt was originally approached to play the character in the 2010 Iron Man 2 but had other commitments. So more than 10 years later we are still waiting for the movie to hit the screens, hopefully the July release date will remain.
