Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini aka Doja Cat (28) is an American rapper from LA.  She began her career on SoundCloud and caught the attention of RCA records who gave her a recording contract and her debut song was  ‘Purrr’ in 2014.   In February 2018 she released “Go to Town” as the lead single from her debut album, with an accompanying music video. “Candy” was released as the album’s second single that same month. The track became a sleeper hit after a cance chalenge on TikTok and reached 86 on the Billboard Hot 100. 

DoJa Cat’s ‘Scarlet’ album was released in August 2023 and her single ‘Demons’ was released in early September 2023, alongside a music video directed by Christian Breslauer.
