Social media star Madison Beer has finally released her debut album “Life Support”.
There is no shortage of material as it contains 17 tracks. Still only 21 she faces a great future. She has her own sound although there are echoes of Ariana Grande and Lana Del Ray coming through is some of the music.
Madison has a distinctive voice. Many of the tracks are heavy on production but there is variation. For example, with “Homesick” she relies on a single guitar. In “Follow the White Rabbit” the heavy bass is a core feature. In “Default” thye dominant sound is that of violins. In “Effortlessly” there is a pause in the beat implying the song is coming to and end, but then she continues to sing.
The albums initial single was “Good in Goodbye” released in January 2020 and had initial success in Italy and New Zealand.
The next release was “Selfish” which started to make an impact in USA, UK and Canada.
“Baby” came next and was accompanied with a music video.
