Six months after Eddie Van Halen death, his son Wolfgang (29) hits Billboard Chart No. 1 with single ‘Distance’
His dad, Eddie Van Halen, would have been so proud. His son Wolfgang’s first official single ‘Distance’ hits number one on the Billboard Chart.
The song is a tribute to his father who passed away after a long battle with cancer at the age of 65.
Van Halen is very grateful for all his fans that made the number one happen. ‘Thank you to everyone who helped me get my first #1 song. I wish Pop was here to see it.’

Wolfgang was the youngest band member of the Van Halen family band, until his father’s death.
A month after his father’s death, he started his own band called Mammoth WVH. Their album will debut in June.
The lead single ‘Distance’ reached No. 1 on both the MediaBase, BDS Active Radio Charts and Billboard.
