The Foo Fighters have done it again. Not only has their new album “Medicine at Midnight” made it a UK number one, they have also sold more albums than six of their competitors sales in total. This is the fifth time they have topped the UK market.
They sold over 40000 copies of which over 70% were physical sales including over 10000 vinyl copies. The fighters have now been together for more than 25 years and have indicated they would like to be on the road soon to play the new songs as well as the old.
This is the fifth time they have hit the top spot since 2002 with the other albums being “Concrete and Gold”, “Wasting Light”, “Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace” and “One by One”.
While the album has received rave reviews already, one track in particular, “Love Dies Young” is already being labelled one of the greatest songs they have ever produced.
