Greatest Rock bands in the World that Lasted and Lasted and are Still at the Top!

Even Van Gogh would have an Ear for his Fellow Dutchmen Rock Music!

GOLDEN EARRING. The Greatest Dutch Rock band since 1961 announced on 5th February 2021 that their active career was over due to George Kooymans’ being diagnosed with ALS.

They became world famous when their song “Radar Love” became a hit in 1973. They have had 30 Top 10 hits like “Twilight Zone” 1982 and “When the Lady Smile” in 1984. Wishing George lots of strength and hoping that doctors can help you in some way.

Have you ever been to Holland?

THE ROLLING STONES. The band members are super fit and are performing as well as they did more than 40 years ago. Mick, Keith, Ronny and Charlie The English Greatest Golden Rock Band. The way they are going they will probably still be performing in their 100s.

They had so many hits, but Trending Music favourite Stones songs are: Brown Sugar, Gimme Shelter, (I can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Honky Tonk Women, Painted Black, OK, all of their songs are our favourites. We still have an antique Stones T-Shirt handed down generations from the 1960’s.

Which is your favourite Stones song? Comment below.

ZZ TOP from Texas.  We wonder if their beards are keeping them warm, since it is so cold in Texas now?  They were formed in 1969 in Houston. They consist of Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. (The beardless one).

They played at the Super Bowl XXXI in 1997 which is such an achievement. We love “Gimme All Your Lovin”.  I hope they will perform in Europe soon.

Just one week to go until ‘That Little Ol’ Band From Texas’ is available on DVD, Blu-Ray and Digital!

Until then, get warmed up and check out the full track of La Grange from Gruene Hall.

AEROSMITH.  Who does not love the song  “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”?  Natasha Nicholls sang this song when she was a child and had many views on Youtube www.natashanichollsmusic.com Aerosmith was formed in Boston (one of Trending Music’s favourite cities in the world) in 1970.

Steven Tyler (lead vocals) is the father of the actress Liv Tyler. Their style is a fusion of blues hard rock, pop rock, heavy metal and rhythm and blues.  Their nickname is the “Bad Boys from Boston” and according to an Aerosmith expert the greatest American Rock and Roll Band.

Who are from Shepherds Bush and still so exciting to watch? The Who! Only the guitarist Pete Townshend and the lead singer Roger Daltrey are still the original band members from 1964.  Zack Starkey (The Beatles Ringo Star’s son) has been the drummer of the Who since 1996.

Their genres are rock, hard rock and power pop.  Their first single “I Can’t Explain” reached the top 10 in the UK after that they had many successful singles like: My Generation, Substitute, Pinball Wizard and Won’t get fooled Again.

Who has some of their vinyls at home?
